Run and Roam

Increase physical health and mental stimulation with runs tailored to your dog’s individual fitness level.

After a warm up walk, dogs are encouraged to up their pace and experience the ‘endorphin rush’ that will make them feel happy and energetic, just like humans do.

Running takes place on dog friendly trails, and the pace always matches the fitness level of the dogs. Regular breaks allow them to sniff and ‘be a dog’ and are crucial to their enjoyment of the experience; it’s not a race!

All runs end with a cool-down walk at a relaxed pace to allow for more sniffing and high-fiving their other canine companions on their running achievements!

Service includes:

  • Pick up and drop off (additional charges may apply depending on your location)

  • 1 - 2 hours total exercise time, depending on dog’s fitness level

  • Tasty, natural treats to keep energy levels up!

  • Water for on route hydration

  • No more than 4 dogs

    Cost - £35 per dog

    Solo runs - POA

Running provides numerous benefits for dogs, enhancing their overall well-being and happiness.

Physical fitness - running helps maintain a healthy weight, builds muscle strength, and improves cardiovascular health.

Mental stimulation - the varied environment and physical activity stimulate your dog’s mind, reducing boredom and preventing behavioural issues.

Energy release - high-energy dogs, in particular, benefit from running as it helps to burn off excess energy and reduce hyperactivity.

Socialisation - running in different environments exposes your dog to new sights, sounds, and smells, which can improve their social skills and adaptability.

Behavioural improvement - regular exercise through running can help reduce anxiety, stress, and destructive behaviours by providing a productive outlet for your dog’s energy.

Joint health - controlled running helps maintain joint flexibility and overall musculoskeletal health, especially if done on varied terrain.

Enhanced sleep quality - after a good run, dogs often sleep more soundly, contributing to better rest and overall well-being.
