Puppy and Cake Socialisation Walks

Want to learn more about training and managing your puppy in outside surroundings?
Puppy and Cake Socialisation Walks are dog training classes on the move and are the perfect opportunity to practice exercises and provide socialisation in a real-life environment.

Puppy and Cake Socialisation Walks, based on The Dog Trainer School’s 4XPaw Adventures, apply the foundational skills acquired in Puppy Training or One-to-One Training to real-life situations.

These walks foster safe and appropriate socialisation and a chance to build on training loose lead walking and recall in the presence of a qualified trainer.

In addition to building your confidence, it’s a chance for both you and your puppy to explore new surroundings.

  • An enjoyable puppy walk, followed by coffee, cake, and a Q&A session in the company of a dog training expert

  • Practice loose lead walking and recall

  • Additional simple training exercises

  • Approximately 40 minutes walk (maximum of 1.5 miles)

  • Approximately 20 minutes coffee, cake and Q&A session (may be held in cafe depending on location and weather conditions) - a good opportunity for your puppy to learn to settle

  • All puppies kept on long line throughout the walk (harness required so long lines can be attached safely)

  • Minimum 2 puppies, maximum 4 puppies (up to 6 months old)

    Cost - £20 per puppy
